295-70-17

Can I Run 295 70 17 on an f150 4x4 w/ 2 inch leveling kit

also how wide are the rims- could you run a 33x12.5 tire?

Stock 17" wheels are 7" or 7.5" wide. I believe most 12.5" wide tires want a minimum wheel width of 9".

I was about to say, yes you can but a pic is worth a thousand words. Several people have fit 315/70-17's (35x12.50) on 04-05 4x4's by using the stock wheels and a 2.5 inch leveling kit. The 295/70-17 Nittos are approximately a 34x12.00-17.

should be no problem at all I have them on 8inch 4.95 offset wheels and gobs of room look in gallery (craig41071) I assume you are wanting Nitto Terra grapplers? Thats what i have and I have never seen that size by anybody else.

yes you can run a 295x70x17 tire with that set up. they say to run them on 8.0-9.5 inch rims. yes you can run 33x12.5x17 on the same set up.

I have 33x12.5x17 on 17x10 rims mounted on my truck. the tire does stick out about 3-4 inches outside the fender. I didn't need to cut anything to make them fit but it was about a 1/2 an inch from the bottom plastic on the bumber. So I cut a little off the plastic just in case.
