Fender Flares

Has anyone tried these from Moss? They come already with the factory colors and look like the will cover aftermarket wheels & tires.

I really like the flares....however I'm not sure I'd leave them unpainted on your truck. I think on any other color other than black it would probably look OK, but I think you'll want that clear-coat look to blend in well with your truck. Just my opinion though.

The back fender flares are held in my 6 clips, no drilling at all. The front flares are held on by I think 4 screws that drill up into the hard plastic thats inside of the wheel well, no no drilling into the metal at all!

I see some good candidates but I need more specific info.

I need flares that don't go past vertical flat crease onto the rounded part of the fender. I need about 2 inches overhang from the vertical flat.

Can anyone post close up pics of where their flares meet the fender?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Nice truck Jperea.
I noticed the mirrors and door handles are the body color...

Question: did you sand and paint the factory units or is there a vendor that sells smoothed/ready to paint units?

I was interested in the new Lincoln Mark LT handles and mirrors, which I haven't been able to locate, but if you have another a suggestion, I'm all ears.

Thx

I had them sanded and painted. however, you can get aftermarket mirrors, ready for paint from f150store.com.

I have the bushwacker extendafender on my xlt 4x4. Its a reg cab. I like them looking at the truck from the side, when you look at it from the front you can see it needs bigger tires, i only have the stock 235-75-17. I can promise you that will changer after i save up some money. Hard to sell getting rid of perfectly good tires to the wife.

Personally, I think these pocket fender flares look so goofy on a stock truck or even a leveled truck. It looks good with a 6" lift and 35s though!
