OK guys, seriously I am pissed, what kind of POS steals used headlight covers, they can't afford the $40 at murry's discout auto to buy their own? WTF, me and my buddy hang out at a bar for 2 hours and by the time I come out, someone has ripped my headlight covers right off, I don't think there is a worse feeling then when someone messes with your ride that you work long hours everyday to pay off, that you spend hours a week washing it, and waxing it, and making it look good because the thing cost you a third of what your house cost, and some JACKASS comes and rips off your headlight covers, so his POS 4.2L STX can look just a little bit less gay. I'm sorry but that just BOGGLES MY MIND, OK IM DONE VENTING...

 

Sorry bro...I hear you. Ive had my stereo ripped before...to top it off, they used my damn sunshade (AT NIGHT) to cover the windows when stealing my ****...broke the window, but locked the doors again when they closed it.

that I had on my van OFF every night and put them back on every day in my
old neighborhood. I had an awesome set of USHIO amber fogs with really rad
covers, and I just knew if I left them on overnight, that one day they would be gone. I had some scuma$$ steal my rear licence plate one night and I didn't know 'til the cops pulled me over to tell me, now EVERY day when I
come out of my house I have to do a circle check of the truck before getting
in .................

I was feeling sympathetic for you up until I saw how arrogant you are about being a FX4 owner! You have a right to be pissed off at the thief, but to make a comment like that about 4.2L STX's isnt right, heck, I happen to think that the STX's look pretty sharp, nothing gay looking about them, especially when you consider the main difference in looks between the STX and FX4 is wheels and a decal. Guess that means you originally put them on your truck to keep it from looking less gay. I get so tired of reading these posts from FX4 and Lariat drivers that think their trucks are superior. I agree, ya, you paid a hell of a lot more than the rest of us, and yes they are nice, but when it gets down to it they are still all just Ford trucks. And no, I dont own a STX!

its about jealousy. These theives were probably driving a mid-80s Citation or KCar.

 

If you have a dressed up ride, people will be jealous of it. I have seen punks around here rip tail light covers that were screwed on, just because they were on a nice ride.

 

We just shoot 'em here in Texas. Seems to stop them from doing it again

 

At the very least thank God he didnt key it or mess it up some other way getting the covers off. If he was low enough to steal the covers he surely wouldn't have thought twice about f'ing it up just for "fun".
