XLs and XLTs are real men's trucks. all you FX4 and Lariat guys are just trying to make up for something else you're lacking................... $5000 - $6000 more for seats covered with cow skin (vinyl in the back) and an automatic temperature setter. hmmmm, ford LOVES you guys!! how much better are your 4x4 systems, powertrain, and handling in your Lariats? oh yeah, THEY'RE THE SAME AS MY XLT! SUCKERS!!

What's a few buck$? That "Cow Skin" sure does look good! For even more $$$'s you can get really cool puddle lamps on your mirrors and a "Running W" logo all over your truck!

The "cow skin" is worth it to me.....my butt is allergic to cloth!
Oh yeah, I don't drink Natural Light either....I splurg and go all out for Bud Light (well Budwiser Select now!)

You must remember a King Ranch is simply a Lariat with an additional optional package. Strip out the pretty leather and it is a Lariat.
Kind of like a FX4 with
a heated seat package...oh wait you cant do that....
leather captains' chairs...oh wait you cant do that....
power driver & passenger seats...oh wait you cant do that....

I pretty much think this entire thread is pointless, We've all chosen a F150 in different flavors and it boils down to us loving the best built truck there is. Some like em low and some like em high and some like em with extra goodies. I love my XLT Scab the way I picked it up. I'll do a few minor mods such as lower the rear to match the front or possibly raise the front to match the rear. I few bolt ons such as grill guard, bug deflector and possibly window shades but thats in the future.

Exactly, everyone bought their truck for their reasons and everyone here is in love with their trucks. Maybe not as much as me and thats why I believe that this is the Best Looking 2004 F-150 especially once I get my wheels and tires!

Aww shucks we are just poking fun at each other. I love the new F150 regardless of trim level. There ain't a Lariat for FX4 or XLT driver here who wouldn't be proud to convoy with any other F150. It's just fun poking "insults" amongst the family. Let some Titan nut come in here and cut on the most stripped F150 on the lot and we all would rip him to shreds.
Besides don't be jealous just cause my hiney is warm in the winter.

Yes we would! And here where I live I don't need the heated seats, Now if they were chilled for our summers I might be jealous!

Lol we all have great trucks and we all have different taste in what we like to see on these trucks ...this thread would have been served better split up in different catagories ...
I love my truck but id like to improve it a littel more. I can say i dont have the nicest truck on this sight but ...I can say that i have the best looking one in my city...
A few weeks back i got my truck back from the accident i was in and i had to bring it back for some follow up work ...and they didnt have the part i needed ....so they had my truck for 3 days ...the dealership called me and asked me if it was ok to put my truck in front of the dealership for show while it was in the shop.
BTW ramss if ya see this reply if u coming to that DUB show u told me about a few weeks back ...when u come to NO we gonna have to meet up.
