Vent Shades

I recently purchased WADE Vent Shades for my SCAB FX4 off EBAY. They seemed pretty cheap material and were $45. The vent shades are the ones that wedge into the window channel with the 3m tape on the interior. I don't like the way the exterior 3m tape ones look. The driver side one seemed to tight and had extreme difficulty closing the window so I took them all out. I was wondering which ones other people had good luck with? I was looking for the ones that have no 3m tape at all. that wedged into the interior of the window channel...

JTR, I got the same type of ventshades that you have. They are tight at first, but the more you put your window up and down, the better they "seat". Still don't get rid of them, do a search and you'll find that the in-channel shades look the best and stay in place better than just the clip in kind.

I have the Weathertech's which use no tape on the fronts but did use it on the rear of my screw. I have had no problems with mine and noticed absoultly no additional wind noise as others have calimed. The only "bad" thing w/ the weathertech's are the "legs"(they very slightly get in your view of the pass. mirror, I did get used to mine though and love them)[IMG][/IMG]

I've used draw-tite on both my 150s. I prefer the clean in-channel look as well. Here's the link: http://www.drawtite-hitches.com/

check out the quik snap vents....they are held in by a little u-clip...you slide the visors in and press the clip into the channel to hold them...the window goes up right through the clip...
