HIDPLANET, did you need new shocks also when you lowered your truck, or will the stock shocks still work?

Apparently you do not need them. I called the manufacturer before purchasing the kit and they said with this small of a drop, they are not needed. Still rides very nice so im assuming its all good. But I may replace them soon with something made for a shorter throw.

First, I forgot to put it in my last post but I think your truck looks great. I'm just not dedicated enough to keep a black truck clean. I already did a 2" shackle drop and 20's on my SCREW but after seeing your truck I am seriously thinking about doing the same drop you have. What size tires and wheels do you have?

EDIT: Nevermind my tires/wheels question, I just looked at your sig. Thanks.

GB150, Go with the McGauheys drop. You wont regret it.
Promise, you'll love it and wont sacrifice the ride quality with this kit.

Im used to black vehicles. I previously owned a black car and with the truck, I use Quick Detailer every morning while warming her up to get all the dust off and bring out shine. Wash her every saturday when the weather is good.

the drop looks good... makes me miss my previous truck! lol very clean looking, and not too low. My truck became a problem after a while... it was too low and i was scraping everywhere! ehh... but i still enjoyed it alot!
I don't know about the rims, maybe i'd like them better in person. To me their just seems to me too much black going on and not much of anything else. Also, i'd definately remove the steps, no reason for them on a lowered vehicle.

You have any other major plans you have for the truck?

Not a ton but definatly going go get a blacked out grill and surround and install round auxillay lights in them ala Mustang GT or the Rousch F-150. Touchscreen Eclipse DVD/MP3/Navi head unit. xCalibrator, intake, and thats about it for now I think. I dont want to go overboard but I like it clean and simple.
Trust me, the trucks looks MUCH different in person. The wheels really are the showstopper but in pictures they turn out rather boring.
