Saleen,
Yeah youre to thank for the suspension. All I knew about were DJM and GroundForce but from what it sounds, they all alter the ride quality and this one doesnt. Everything is great and the ride and stance is exactly where I want it to be. Thank you for enlightening me to this suspension Kit.

I like...

...for that Street Truck look without going overboard. Plain & simple is always the best route. The perfect understatement.

There is, Firestone makes it. If Iam not mistaken I've seen a mention of it in a thread on here. I have the McGaughys drop myself and will be pulling a boat and a pop-up camper.
I think its around $200-$250 range.

Yes this is the same kit. I was very suspicious when I called the factory and they gave me the price. I thought, how can this kit after installtion still be less than the competition parts only??!!
But all in all, looking at everything it makes sense. Once you do research, making the springs with correct rate is fairly cheap and leafs are basic so the kit cost is reduced.

I JUST realized that I never got the wheel lock key and the thin socket for lug removal for these wheels back from the shop who installed the suspension. I have to call them tomorrow and they better still have them. The key is a one of a kind that the manufacturer keeps the pattern but I never got the chance to register my key pattern with them so I am very screwed if they lost the key. And the socket is a special thin walled socket that has to be used for the lugs on these wheels because the opening for the bolts are smaller than standard openings.

which kit did you get? They have more than one kit listed. I think one comes with a flip kit and the other comes with new leaf springs. I was just wondering if that would make a difference in towing things as well as the ride of the truck.

This one is the one that has new leafs. They told me that they are going to discontinue the ones with the flip kits. If you are going to tow, you may want to use a helper spring or airbag assist.

OIC. I think the leaf springs would be a little easier to install anyways. I will probably end up getting an airbag setup in the rear for towing. I love the way your truck looks man. I just hate to do mine yet cause I don't have the money for new tires and rims right now too and I am not sure how it would look with the xlt tires and rims.

Just wait till you got all your other stuff, you wont regret it. Its worth the wait to get the wheels and tires first. I got the wheels and tires when the truck was 2 days od, got the tint when it was 3 days old and got the suspension at 2 weeks old. Now for the stereo
