Installed the intake today. Very simple to DIY. It sounds great. Unnoticable at cruise, but put your foot in it and it sounds off. Reminds me of turning the old stock air cleaner tops upside down to make it sound like we had 4 barrel carbs under the hood. In reality, it was a rochester 2 barrel...Kevin

I would be interested in what you find. I will be using whichever has the best performance. I just wish AF1 would hurry up, but since everyone has had so many problems with the Lean conditions in these trucks I think the wait is worth it. I was going to pull the trigger on the AR but in talking to Mike the AF1 may be out pretty soon.

I guess I can wait a month or two since I will have everything but the intake.

Here are some observations after a 200 mile trip with the newly installed intake: Noticeable power gain between 2500 and 3000 RPM at less than wide open throttle. Its quiet cruising until you start up a hill or accelerate, then you can hear it. Far from annoying IMO.
Overall, I'm very impresed with this mod from the ease of installation to the power gain...Kevin
