Angry fender flare frustration

I ordered a set of OE fender flares off of ebay. It took an excessive amount of time to have them sent to me. b/c the shipping label supposedly came off. I eventually got them, mounted three, but one was warped so badly it would not stay on. So I had to ask for a replacement, the guy at the company told me to try to reform it with a hairdryer, I did and it didn’t work. So I called back he agreed to send me a replacement, express shipping. I got the tracking number but when I called fed ex they said they had only gotten an electronic transmission, never the actual package. So I called the company back and the same guy I had been talking to said it was fed ex’s fault, they must have lost the label. He would call them and call me back. He never called and when I tried to call him the message said they were closed for the day, not to open again until Tuesday. On top of that, I came to find out from fed ex the label they had was for standard home shipping not express. So I have a trip coming up this week, my new truck has 3 flares and three mudflaps and is drilled for the fourth. I just needed to vent.

Thanks

Ahhh, the joys of trusting and sending money to unknown strangers on eBay and hoping they are honest.

Which is exactly why the feedback feature is there..... Read peoples feedback before bidding people!! You have no one to blame but yourself if you do not use Ebay correctly... I have had 800 positive transactions on ebay and maybe one bad one...

Are they warped or a result from poor shipping practices?

Wasachevyguy: The guy i got mine from was in texas as well, but that name doesnt ring a bell. I had a buddy help me on installation, just nice for the extra set of hands to hold the flare in place while i drilled and pealed the tape. Instalation is ok. I had to drill both the flare and the truck.

Showya: I cant say for sure but i'll tell you what i know. They were shipped in a cardboard box. the warped flare was the second one from the edge. I did not appear damaged in any way other than it was crooked.

I suppose it could have even been a manufacturing flaw
