Cheap Sub Boxes

I know Supercrewsound.com was selling these boxes for like $150. I found these boxes on Ebay and they want $90 but I don't know many subs that have a 5" mounting depth. Im starting to think that someone made these boxes realizing that they couldn't mount any subs in them. Anyone know of a sub that only has a 5" mounting depth because if so this would be a good deal.

Just thought I'd let everyone know!

Thats the box I have and my Kicker CVRs were too deep to mount in it, but being its made of 3/4 particle board (or something like that) all I did was take my grinder and grind out about 1/2 of an inch where the magnet was hitting (in turn making the box 1/2 deeper) and the speakers then fit fine.

Depending on the wattage that you are looking to push, you can go with an Audiobahn Q series sub. I have a fosgate 800 watt amp bridged to a single 10 and it has handled it so far. The speaker is rated at 1000 watts with only a 4.5" mount depth.

Pioneer makes a shallow mount 12" sub. They are like 1200 watts a piece and only about 150 bucks. They sound great. I 've installed quite a few in these new trucks. I think the mounting depth is around 4" if i remember correctly.

I wish I could get the Pioneers if anything but Im going with the L7s. I mean 8s that are going to be pushing 900w RMS together, sounds pretty good for 8s to me!

The subs, box, amp, wiring is going to cost me about $800.

I bought a box for a 10 inch sub on ebay and used a jigsaw to cut a hole for my 12 inch Pioneer flat sub. took 5 min.
