Thumbs up Amazing repair to screwed door panel!

This is the before picture of the hole that the ruined my door panel. The replacement cost was $525 cdn, and the installer is a good friend so i decided to give the repair guy a chance to fix it and if it didnt work out i could always replace the door panel later.
I taped the original piece back in just so you could see the repair job that was required.

Here is the picture of the repaired door in a full light with flash situation. You can barely tell where the hole was. With the door panel installed, you wouldnt know that my door panel ever had a problem with it. So for everyones future knowledge, If you end up screwing up your dash or door panel or one of the other 1000 or so plastic pieces on your truck, there is hope, and a much cheaper repair bill. The repair only cost me $75 cdn.

Later Trev

Looks like a good repair. If you didn’t have first hand knowledge of the mistake, you would never know it was a screw up that got fixed.

Never thought such a thing was possible. I'd love to know how that was done!

It wasnt fiber renew who did it, it was a french guy Yvonne who has his own company and does amazing work. He does all the repairs for City ford and a bunch of the other dealers around town. I can get you his phone number if you email me.

RockPick, ThumperMX113 was bang on, the installer put the first hole in the door panel before double checking where the hole was in comparison to the dash. As you can tell he forgot about the dash which fits nicely along the raised door panel edge.

P.S. I wasnt allowed to clean it as he wants me to let the repair dry completely for a few days, then once i clean it and protect it im sure no one will ever know that it was screwed.
