See that rocky point just to the left of the truck out into the water... that is one heck of a striped bass spot in late May.

I took this pic in mid-Feb.

You can go just about anywhere anytime. I drove the boys on a 60 mile trip durring a snow storm in January. About 12". They were so tense. Complained about my driving the whole trip. I told them if we spin out and end up in the ditch I can just drive out of it. That did not reassure them?! LOL.

When we got back I said they were too tense and that I needed to calm their fears. I drove past my driveway and pulled into the field behind my house. We went around and all over with ease.

The next trip was less tense until I got back home. One of the boys was not there for the last trip. He missed all the excitement. I pulled into the driveway and stopped at the end by the road and asked: "Should we jump the snow bank?" He just yelled out: "NO!" So I parked it and let it alone.

The following weekend my Wife and I were watching our nine year old niece. I asked her the same question. She takes after her uncle, so off we went, through the snow bank and into the back yard. She is the only one who really understands, the rest just shake their heads.

Winter? haha It was 73 today and it's the coldest it's been in a week or so. The only winter we get is rain and more rain. Sometimes it drops below 40.

I WISH I we got snow here in Sacramento.
Time to move.

Winter sucks regardless of what you drive. My truck is covered in white salt dust. And all frozen up. It's supposed to warm starting this week. It shoud have a chance to thaw out.

all in the name of the Ontario government supporting our Salt industry.

Notice how many provinces allow studded tires? The road repairs are probably a lot cheaper in the long term than excessive salting and plowing (plus they still need to fix the roads from frost heave anyway)

This salt thing really tickks me off.
