Window trim....
bad rubber
I don't want to panic anyone but I have to wonder if some of what you are seeing is overspray from the truck being painted or repainted. It could also look that way if it was hit by a buffer when the new paint was being polished if it was damaged before you purchased it. Then you have even more problems, take a close look at the door edges and see if there is a painted edge that shouldn't be there or a build up of compound. Just trying to help...
Pyromite78,
Wow! Totally did not expect to have this thread brought back like that!
I certainly can understand your dislike for them. Your experience is precisely why I will do almost every repair/mod to my truck myself. Dealers use the lowest bidder for accessory work and I just simply wont allow that. The few times Ive brought it in was for warranty work that would have cost to much for me to do or I wasnt equipped to handle. My biggest gripe with them is that my truck has always come back to me filthy as hell. So I can definatly relate on that. Its like everybody had to put their damn paw prints all over the place!
Other than that its been okay. My other gripe would be that they dont seem to listen to suggestions. I know we have the edge because we use this forum, but comon, if what I say makes sense and is a tsb, DO IT! But to put it in perspective, Im coming from world ford in pembroke pines, where it takes 5 friggin days to change a brake light.
If you know of a better dealership though please post or drop me a line. I would like to find a place where I dont have to worry about my vehicle so much...
Thanks,
Luis S
