I've been thinking for some time that the Screws appear to sit higher than the Scabs.

I never measured them or anything, just figured it was an optical illusion due to the bigger cab and shorter bed on the Screw.

Stevevfx4 - LOL, good catch. Dont you know with the leveling kit comes a nicer looking fence to compliment the changes. Looks like the bricks got cleaner too!!!

LMAO! Funny reply about the stain! Paint the fence Daniel Son!

As for the SCrews sitting higher than the SCabs, that might make sense. Anyone else seen this? Based on the photo's that I've seen from this sight, I'm about 100% sure that the Daystars or Autosprings are in my near future. Gotta get bigger tires though!

That fence was a PITA. But it looks hot now. Had to give the Tan Terror a nice place to sleep overnight. Pix also taken at different times of day... makes for a big difference! Plus the tint & Undercover. Bigger tires are in my future to, if I can figure out what wheels would look good on it...

extended cab fords sit highest of all other cab designs. dont ask me why either cause all i can tell you is ford has a chart and extra cabs are the tallest by a good bit.

Among other places, Moss Motors now carries the daystar.

Hey D,

Go to Centerline.com and check out the Centerline Crossfire wheels for the new f-150. Better yet, request a "free" Centerline Wheels catalog while your there. The Crossfire wheels come in sizes 17x8.5 and 20x8.5. I saw easterisland's wheels (crossfire) and fell in love with em'.

Wheel size W.D. Polished

20 x 8.5 | $267.00

Well that's gotta be true. I parked next to him again this morning and this time I noticed it's a 2005. He doesn't even have a tag on it yet. Yesterday he didn't have nurf bars, today he does. Funny. I can see a modding competition starting since we are almost identical trucks. But there's no way he has a leveling kit, and he's only about 1 inche higher in the front than I am. You can't notice unless the trucks are right next to each other, but once you look at them both from the front, you can tell that he's a bit higher than my Scab. I think the only thing that is going to solve this problem is a daystar kit.

Peace - I like the look of those, but I'm extremely gunshy of polished Al living in Michigan. Upkeep SUCKS and they pretty much look like trash 6 months out of the year thanks to winter. I speak from experience. Centerline has a solid warrenty on the finish, but I just don't trust it. It's chrome or nuttin! I've been thinking about Welds but balking at the cost. I want a lightwieght , quality wheel (ie, one piece forged Al) at a decent price. I love the idea of the Centerlines at $214 each... why oh why can't I have chrome?!

well i have notice that the super cabs in the back are lower than the super crews because the wheel base on the super cabs is longer, same goes for the single cab, it sits the highest in the rear becuase of the wheel base. as far as the front of the truck goes stock on all the same year modles should be the same hight, but of course taking into consideration of the wheel sizes, 4x4 or not and so forth.

Yep, some chrome Welds would be a good choice for where you live.

Thats not true unless your comparing a scab with a 5.5' bed to a screw with a 5.5' bed.

I believe the scab with a 6.5' bed is the same length as a screw with a 6.5' bed.

The Scab with a 6.5' box is the same length as the Screw with the 5.5' box.
You can't get the 6.5 box on a Screw.
