I've had my Line-X in for about 6 months now and love it!. One thing I would reccomend is not to stay there and wait for your truck. They have to scuff up the paint and it is kind of disheartening to hear the air tools going at the paint on a brand new truck.

As far as durability goes, I don't think you can get any better. I've hauled 3/4 ton of rock in the bed and shoveled it all out. You can't even tell that I did anything to it.

One thing that i might reccomend for you is to ask them to mask off the tie downs. A guy here at work asked me what all they did and I told him that they removed everything. He told me that the tie downs don't come out of the Chevy boxes.

All in all, I would definately reccomend Line-X. After seeing my truck, my father-in-law is actually considering removing the carpet from the rear of his '02 Suburban and having the floor sprayed.

I am on my second Line-X, the first on an 02 GMC and one now on my F150. Neither time did I have any overspray or damage done. They shot and masked the tailgates separately and on the Ford pulled to the bed retaining bolts and shot the tailgate panel separately.

On the GMC the liner was shot under the bed rails, but many people locally with GM trucks have the top inch or two of the outside of the bed done to save or hide the scratches. I personally do not like the look, but it is practical.

A friend of mine had the bottom 2 tone part of his F-250 done with Line-X along with his fenders and bumpers. Looks pretty unique.

Sorry for posting chevy pix on a ford site, but a good Line-x job is a good line-x job. For anyone who's in the Triad area of NC I can now highly recommend Line-x of Winston-Salem. The owner even let me drive his own truck while they were doing mine. He acted like he'd known me forever and I was a total stranger. Anyway here's a picture.

Thanks again for all the help and reassurance.

Looks Good Bro.

I got my Line-X sprayed at Tarheel 4WD in Charlotte NC and they did an awesome job.

It looks great and i have hauled so much **** in there and it does not even look used at all.

Line X is the bomb. Good Looking Chevy by the way (its no FORD) but still nice

Jk

Im glad to see you are happy with your Line X.

Ryan

Another vote for LineX here. I had mine done last summer, and they did a great job. The first "real" test of it's durablility was this past weekend when I hauled a load of 6x6 landscape timbers. Not a scratch.
