What wheels and tires did you get?
Sorry bout that ThumperMX113, I fixed the link.
As for the tires, I was going to get were Boss 20" ones but they havent arrived yet. But the tire store just brought in some black and chrome ones that they think would look awesome on my truck, and they are only $50 more per rim so I am going to see them on monday. Good news is the black ones are in stock so it i wont have to wait. (bad news is the wife will kill me sooner than later )

Not yet, but i have only washed the vehicle a few times. How long have you had them on. Im sure the seller will do an exchange as im sure he gets most of his business from us.

KC, I noticed some slight condensation a few days after I initially installed them, but none since. His auction says guaranteed to not leak water, so I would contact him and email those pictures to him as well and make him give you a new set.

KRAZY had them on since Feb. Washed them quite a few times. Humidity was up today so that could be some of it.

Steve, e-mailed him with the pictures, nothing yet. I was late afternoon so might be tomorrow that I hear from him, if I hear from him at all. I noticed he has one neg feedback about not wanting to replace a defective light. Guess what kind of light it is? We'll see what happens.

well, good luck and let us know what happens. I also see he is still using the picture of my truck on his auctions. I emailed him about that and he never responded.

If he doesn't respond, maybe you can contact DEPO about this. their website is www.maxzone.com

Thanks for the link Steve. I just went out and looked, and now the whole lamp is fogged over. I'll give him until Friday to reply and then I'll get ahold of Depo and see what they say.

I also just thought of this, if his auction says guaranteed not to leak, then maybe you can contact Ebay as well if he doesn't respond. Tell them he's not abiding by what he says in the auction about selling lights that don't leak. And mention the negative feedback he got from another light buyer. Perhaps they could crack down on him or possibly suspend him until this issue gets resolved.

Ebay will not get involved with any issues involving low quality or defective products...or disputes between sellers and buyers. The only thing they will "garentee" is you will recieve something fairly close to whats described in the auction.

About the only recourse he would have would be to buy another set (or at least win the auction) and then threaten to leave negative feedback if the seller didnt replace these defective lights. Its kind of a dirty way of doing it but it would probably work.

Ebay sucks when it comes to that, you'll have to go thru another company to make a complaint. Once you file the claim and the company contacts the seller it usually helps resolves it. I just had to do it with someone not wanting to send me $5.00 turn signal lights!

Its easy to fix the problem even though it shouldnt happen in the first place.
Remove the headlamp and take outtue bulbs. Let it air dry until there is absolutly no moisture inside. Then use high temp silicone on the seams and blend them in smooth. Once dry, re-install.

KCSport, any update on your problem?

On another note, not only the seller we bought our lights from is still using my truck picture, now I see another seller is using the same pic!!! I should be getting paid for their advertisement!

He is willing to replace the light. I have to ship it back to him(which means I get stuck with the shipping) and then e-mail him the tracking number and he would send the replacement. It has been cool here since the problem, so it went away. I ask him if I could hold on to it for a little while longer and see what happens when it heats up again and he said no problem. I really don't want to have to go thru the hassle of returning it so I might see if I can seal it up myself.

As for your deal, I would e-mail both sellers and e-bay and ask them to quit using your picture.

Not to be an ***, but unless your picture is copywritten I believe once you post it on the net it becomes public domain and anyone can use it. It would have been nice to have at the very least gotten a discount on your set for him using your pic though.
