Yeah,

For those of us who are skeptics, there's something to be said for knowing that it has been done correctly. Besides, I enjoy getting dirty every now and again. It's a good excuse to hang out in the garage and drink a beer.

5W20

Amsoil has 5W20 and filters.Check out their web site.Motorcraft oil doesn't rate very high on the ball bearing wear test.I use amsoil in my 04 F150,and in my 03 Harley Road King. Join their preferred customer program (10 bucks for 6 months) and get a pretty good discount.

I'll drop by Autozone next weed and see what they have. I recall going about a year ago and they did not carry Motorcraft anything. Hopefully this has changed.

Just stumbled upon 11qts of Motorcraft 5W 20 at Wal-Mart moments ago. I went in there to buy 2-clcle oil for the jet ski and there it was, 11qts sitting on the end display marked clearance.

Okay, got a question for those that are in the know about MC oil. Went down to Advance, knowing the carried MC oil. Saw 5w30 synthetic blend for $1.74 quart. Thinking, hey, not a bad price. Look at 5w20 synthetic blend. $2.34 a quart. What's the difference besides weight? Is it that much more expensive to make the 5w20, or are we into supply and demand?

I think it’s definitely a supply and demand situation. 5w 30 synthetic blend is good stuff too but the 5w 20 craze is out there.

According to my local wally-world.... Motorcraft oil and filters will no longer be sold by anybody except Ford. All inventory is being sold, including what they have in the warehouses
Not true.

If Wal-Mart isn't selling it anymore, it tells me Motorcaft (Ford) wasn't willing to sell at the price they were willing to pay. It's a case of ******* the consumer, we want more profit. That's their choice; good for them. Meanwhile I have a choice too, and that's to buy a different product. I was buying Motorcraft at Wal-Mart for convenience as much as cost. I'll pay twice as much for a different product before going a half-hour out of my way to find a parts store or dealership that sells Motorcraft.

Hey Ford; don't tell me it's important for me to use your product and then make it more difficult for me to get cause it aint gonna happen.

More like a case of Wally trying to low-ball another supplier. I will pay more for quality (Motorcraft/Purolator) at another store.

Now that I stocked up, you can find a few cases left at Wally world on 19th Ave and Bethany. It is on clearance which is against the East wall of the store
