Replacing mirror
Mirror replacement
It was no problem to stop and take a few pictures here and there during the process. I new it would probably help some of you'll. Like I said before, I had done a search on this sight before and got a few hits, but I need pictures and for it to be idiot proof, lol.
Sizes
Guess what gang. Blamed my daughter to early on throwing that info on the sizes away. Because I just found them. Hope you'll will read down after the posts earlier to get these.
The ones behind the door handle are 5/16"
The very bottom bolts on door panel are 6mm
The speaker bolts are 7/32"
You may find the equivalent in metric or vise-versa, but this will at least help you from dragging a whole tray of sockets and such to rumage through until you find the right one.

Install finished!
Got mostly a dry day today and decided to pull the door panels and install my new Schefenacker mirrors. I got the manual version that you just pull out on to extend them for towing.
Ther door panels were a snap! Also removing the factory mirrors went easy and the new ones on in just a few minutes. The whole thing took only about 1/2 hour.
The Schefenacker's are heavy! Very well made. Not cheap either. Paid way too much but they are a far better option than strap-on junk for towing. You can see them at:
