Wow that really looks great, wish I had went for the 315 BFG's instead of the 285's. Guess I'll have to wait a few miles before dropping more money on new rubber.

Beaver Tricks - nice truck!!!!!!!

Tuff,

Great looking truck! I plan on doing the same when I get home. Did you paint the daystar black or is it available in black?

Just have to ask, did you follow up your truck-jacking experience by obtaining a CCW permit? I don't leave home without my "sidekick" and after a similar incedent occured in Pensacola my wife no longer protests against me carrying.

Also, nice picture of your window you have in your gallery. I guess it's more entertaining than bird-watching LOL!!!

Tuff only rides in the cab if it's really cold and we're going more than 100 miles or so. He rides in the bed EVERYWHERE with me. It's actually his truck...he just lets me drive it.

I have a carrying permit, and it's probably a good thing my 9mm was at home. The incident happened on a Monday. I had been to the range the day before and brought it inside to clean it. It was lying on my coffee table when this happened. The more I think about it, if I would have had it, and pulled it, I probably would have been shot...he already had his out. Who knows.

I bought my Daystar off of Ebay, and they came black.

I got a heck of a deal on the 315's. They were take off's from an H2 and had 500 miles on them. When I was in the store looking for tires and talking to the guys, the H2 owner came in and was wanting to upgrade as well. I bought the tires directly from him. I didn't get the deal that Eddyg88 did, but I got them at a little less than 1/2 price.

Thanks for the props fellas!

TUFF FORD,

I was referring to your user name, I'm aware that "TUFF" probably isn't your name but due to the fact we're on a public forum and not sitting next to one another I tend to not use names.

I apologize too if it sounded like I was trying to Monday night quarter back your incident. I just have very strong views and would like to see the majority of all criminal acts end in the criminal carrying away a couple of JHP's with them. Anyways, you're probably right about the possibility of agitating the situation.

Take care and enjoy the new ride.

How much air did they tell you to run them at? My shop said run them squishy so they dont wear on the road, but I think thats what is killing the gas milage...

No offense taken! I was reply to Dzervit when I was talking about Tuff. It's my dog's name.

BigBlackTruck~

They didn't tell me what pressure to put in them. I am sticking with whatever they filled it to...I haven't even checked it yet. If it gets low, I'll probably fill it to 35 psi. What did they tell you?

Tuff Ford, in your post you said "but it really looks like a 4" lift"

I agree.
I looked at your gallery pics of the spacer and it appears to have something else on top of the spacer that is giving it that extra couple of inches. I looked at my daystar as installed on my truck and I don't have this extra piece. What is it?

Hey TUFF...looks good bro. I like it!! Did you measure the height in the friont and back now? Im just curious how it affected your truck, since the lifts seem to act different on different trucks. Im thinking of the 2" autospring?????
