It's going to be a nice day today for once and I'm wanting to detail my engine on my 04 4.6l engine. I got really dirty on me with all the salt and dirt that sparys into the engine bay from wet roads. My engine is just full of salt mostly. Before this truck, I had a 98 Mercury Sable. I used to clean that engine just by pressure washing it, and never covering up anything and never once had a problem doing it that way. The engines in these trucks are a little bit more confusing though, they have a lot more to it then a Sable did and I want to know what to watch out for when cleaning it? Would spaying it down with a hose a good idea?
