Took my truck in to get the first oil change and a few gripes.

1-famous window rattle . Iw ent with the tsb I got from here and was told by the tech that he nees time to take the window apart and find out the problem. Dont know why since I fix the problem by jamming cut pieces of tire inner tube into the sliding part of the window. Set up an appointment.

2- had computer reflashed to new set. Strange my crew fx4 revs to 5000 rpm's now and is faster than before.

3- oil change

 

I had the rear window TSB done this week. They sent a glass shop to my house and they took out the entire rear window (along with the back seat) and replaced all the insulation around the window. So far so good.

 

wow that was convenient. Why would they not due the tsb themselves?

 

It is probably cheaper to have a glass company do it, than hire people that are trained for glass repair and replacement. They would have someone on staff fulltime for a job that is really not needed that much.
