Paint bubbles

You may find paint issues because the NVH pads are installed before the paint ovens. When the body in white is sent through the ovens that local area will handle the heat differently.
It will tend to take just a little longer to heat up, and it will hold heat for a longer period of time. This could have an effect on the paint.

Yeh, mine too. What I meant to say was that someone said that since the filler neck comes up on the drivers side, it gives some strength in that area. Not sure, if its bolted or welded or whatever to the side of the bed. But since the other side doesnt have it, they put that pad in there. Dont know. Dont care really, I just want my truck fixed and back to me ASAP!!
