Best Leveling Kit?

I recently got a 2004 SuperCrew FX4 and of course have to modify it. What leveling kits are you guys going with and did it change the ride of your truck? Thanks for your help.

Poptop - you have some pics? I've been thinking of doing the autospring as well but hadn't decided 100% yet. Did you buy through their Ebay link? How fast did you get it once you ordered? And lastly did you do the install yourself? Thanks for any info in advance.

Use the search button... its your friend. You'll find many threads that show how much better the Daystar is over the Autosprung.

I went with the 2" Autospring. Still rides quite nice. Maybe a little stiffer, but then that may also be from the extreme cold weather we've had lately.

Thanks,

Skyjacker is the best one.

I am not a professional, but this is my opinion.

I would go with the Autospring, or a leveling kit that goes on top of the spring. This way, your not extending the shock any farther. The daystar and skyjacker extends the shock out further....I think!

Someone correct me if Im wrong here. We al know that the stock shocks are crap anyways compared to aftermarket ones.

Autospring is the way to go. The smooth factory ride is unchanged because it doesn’t compress the coil spring and they’re easy to install.

I gave both a try on mine.Don't ask me why but the autospring kit is nicer and easy to install.

It might take someone 30 minutes longer to compress the springs for the daystar or skyjacker spacers. The daystar and skyjacker install on top of the assembly as the autospring does and also between the spring and top of strut assembly.
