is i just use the 87 octane setting, and not mess with the shift points, does it still do anything with the transmission, as far as shifting???

 

I left alkl of my shift points and pressures at stock when i tuned my truck. The transmission shifts al little different than stock in normal driving. Not harder though. When i am cruising on the highway and floor it to pass it really shifts hard nut i like it. So in short yes it does change stuff in the transmission even if you leave the pressure and points at stock.
