Radar transmissions and the air bag light

Yes, you read the title correctly. A coworker and I both have had air bag light problems for a while now. I took mine in, they said they fixed it but it started again pretty soon. The coworker had hers in over and over so I decided to hold off on taking mine back in to see what happened with hers. So last week she tells me that the service dept is thinking that the air bag lights are caused by radar transmissions on one of the roads we both drive. I never quite figured it out till then, but my light comes on at exactly the same spot any time is has ever happened. The road is right along the edge of an Air Force base and right by the end of the runway no less. They supposedly "shielded" a wire under the hood of her truck with something like electrical tape, so far so good. Mine has to go in Monday for the rear window squeal so I have a chance to talk to the service guy. Anyone ever heard of anything like this?

I've never heard of anything like this, but if it's true then a big for the service department for coming up with a diagnosis and possible fix!

No idea but it took like 8 trips to get that diagnosis. I'll ask when I take mine on Monday.
