I've got a stock '05 f150 FX4.... I'd love to add a bunch of stuff but the budget's a bit tight right now.

Just curious what others changed first.

Autospring

 

Tires. Got rid of the Generals and installed BFG Raidial AT KO's.

 

In this order I got the rhino lining, kenwood mpv-5025 head unit, 4 audiobahn AS68q 2-way speakers, Flowmaster 40-series exhaust, Street Scene speed grille, rubber floor mats, Westin bull bar, and finally the KC Slimlite chrome fog lights. Eventually I will get a 2" Autospring kit, 4.11 gears, Superchips XCalibrator, 33" Nitto Terra Grapplers, and new 17" rims.

 

id like to have the 4.11 gears and the 2'' front lift with 33'' tires..

 

I put my grill in as soon as the truck got home. Followed by xm, and daystar, the list goes on from there.

I had the grill a month before my truck arrived at the dealer.

 

IMO, the wheels make the truck. Wheels tell if a person if for show, luxury, off road, stock, etc.

Another thing that drastically changes the outward apperance of a vehicle is the hood. Each run a couple of dollars, but do serious makeover work to the truck.

 

Window tint. That's it for now.

 

GAP was first followed by converting the passenger side rearview mirror to flat glass for better rear visibility.

 

Right off the bat: Line-X, Force One Nerf Bars and 15% tint on the front windows. Since then, just a K&N drop in filter.
