Hi all.... I have traded in my 2002 F150 supercrew King Ranch with 82500 miles (yes i drive) for 2005 F150 FX4 supercrew ...

Yes the truck are in the same family but i think the new one is a far better truck. The increase in power is nice to have. The ride is night and day better. Also having a gas tank that holds 30 gallons is outstanding. The new dash and inside are great (i love the fact that the inside all works together, something that the 2002 seem to be missing).

New things for me:
The power rear window (what a great idea... I use it now)
The reverse paking warning system (this rules)

I will be removing the in dash six change HU that came with it and installing my IN dash DVD HU with weekend.. I hope. Also i will be finding a way to keep the sub working as well.

Damn, Screw4by4, that black truck of yours looks sweet in that shot with the snow all around it! Everytime I see that picture I have to do a double-take!

 

While I always hate to see a KR hit the lots as 'used', I certainly understand your decision.

Like TBSC mentioned, this 05 rides light years better than my 01 King Ranch...

By the way.... you still could've come back to the Castano leather for 05... Pics of my 05 KR in link in signature...
