Does everyones FX have Lariat badges on the front fenders?? I was parked beside one the other day and it had the same badges as my Lariat?? Ford couldn't make FX badges??

 

Uhhhh... lariats say "Lariat" on them... FX3½s do not. I also think XLTs say XLT on them... can't remember. But the size, shape, and chrome finish are the same across all models.

 

Oh come on dzervit, why the hate?? Can't we all just get along???

 

as far as I can see, XL, XLT and Lariat are named on the fender badge. STX and FX4 do not but have nifty stickers on the rear panel.

 

The XLT's do in fact say XLT on them, if you got the 5.4 it'll mention that also. In my case it just reads F-150 XLT Triton.

I was looking at the same truck again today. It's a white and tan FX4 Screw and both badges say Lariat and 5.4??

Just seems weird they don't have FX badges for the FX's..

 

Don't forget pre-04s you could get a Lariat FX4. The FX4 monkier was a package, not a stand-alone trim level. If you saw an 04/05 with it, the jackass owner did it on his own.

 

You can't get Arizona Beige 2-tone on any 04-05 FX4 so I would have to believe that someone riced out a Lariat and added FX4 stickers on the rear. I don't personally approve of such a move but if the owner is happy with it, thats all that matters.

Edit after reading Dzervit's post, it makes much more sense. What year is the truck?

 

The truck is white with tan trim and it has the FX4 stickers on the bed.. I assuming it's an 04, might be an 05, but it looks well used..

It's got the FX wheels also..

 

Why would someone want to mess up a perfectly good FX4 with Lariat crap? Then they wouldn't be able to change their own oil!
