I have been meaning to post this issue up but have just not had time. I drive a 2wd XLT, yet I have a **** that would hypothetically switch me into 4H and 4L......Do all of the XLT's have this ****? It's kind of annoying, why would Ford make a useless **** for me? Are all of these trucks like this?

 

Does the **** have 3 settings (2H, 4H, & 4L) and actually move? I believe all 2WDs have a small change holder right there.

 

Yes, it does have 2H 4H and 2L, and no all 2wd trucks apparently don't have a small change holder there.

 

Have you turned the ****? Anything? Is there a free transfer case under the truck? haha...


So it does absolutely nothing?

Take it in to the dealer and tell them it's not working correctly. See if you can get 4wd for free

 

I think you bought a 2wd truck with 4WD!

 

as do manually shifted 4x4's

 

I liked the one reply about taking it back and telling them the **** was not working properly to get the 4 wheel drive,, that killed me,, good laugh,, jop

I find it funny that this type of question came from someone with the user name beefullo...try some Viagra.

 

I made Beefullo years ago as all my screenanmes and I don't even remember why. But if it makes you think I have a big *****, then that's cool too.
