Question IS it normal???

First of all, my truck has no vibs at all, no nibbles- NOTHING but smooth like glass- loving it!!

SOo its not that I m panic or anything...just curious..

My truck basic info- Superchip (87), '04 FX4 Screw 18", rear replaced clutch pack...

I noticed once a while that from dead stop at traffic light or park lot...when i put my right foot VERY light tap onto gas pedal (FORWARD), it felt a bit shudder for like 1-2 sec it only happen from dead stop...sometime it doesnt shudder.

If I normal drive like when traffic light turns green, moving truck normal speed and theres no shudder....it only happend if i move my truck VERY SLOW like tap on gas..

So is it normal ? do you guys have similar like mine??

Thanks!
YOMAN!

Approx 7200milages on it

The shudder you feel is from the clutch pack in the diff. Mine did this last summer, I took it to my dealer, which ordered a new pack from Ford. Go back to your dealer, Ford knows about it and has the fix.

I've experienced the same thing about 4 times. Like you stated from a stop, light gas pedal pressure and it seems to me like it surges, lerching forward then back off, lerching forward backing off, etc. When I give it the gas it cures the problem.

So this is a warranty issue?? Just thought it was a normal low speed thing.

I have this problem that I noticed not too long ago. From a stop, its feels a little sluggish for the first 1-2 seconds only if you accelerate slowly...like a slight shake, then it takes off with no prob after that. Is this what you feel?

Im going to bring it to the dealer to see if they can fix it.
