Husky Splash Guards and drilling question?

Hi, new to the site... I've searched a bit about splash guards and from what I can tell, husky is a good choice because of it's warrenty. Ford's mudflaps are good because no drilling required. Now, onto my question..
I'm a bit nervous drilling into the truck... Any concerns about rust when drilling the holes to mount the husky guards?

Thanks in advance.

Only one small hole to drill in each of the rear fenderwells. I did it and did not have any problems whatsoever.
