Everyone has been complaining about paying $60 for the G.A.P. Why not just get this

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33645

you can get them in black or chrome, and even white. Just search ebay for "universal grill"

Has anyone installed or done one of these yet?

you get what you pay for...

if you insist, get the black one so you can't see it as much...

i'm not saying the plastic is worth it either...but it looks better.

I went with a billet one...so I paid around $50 for 5 or 6 bars of aluminum...is that worth it?

i say save that chicken wire mesh for the import ricers...

Thumper...if you're looking for opinions, I've got to say I don't care for chain link look.

I did the G.A.P. thing, put it on my Christmas list. Was a bit shocked when I took it out and saw it was nothing but plastic. But after putting it on I really like it.

Here's the thing. No one is going to notice it except another serious F150 driver. I've only had one person mention it to me and that was a guy who had done a lot of mods to his F150 and was looking for something else to spend money on.

Bottom line is if you like the one on ebay give it a try, chances are not many people a going to pay that much attention to it.

I like the stainless look on Gtullous's rig. Good find for $25.

Im just try to find different options, I'd pay $25 for the stainless one like the one that was posted but I just dont think $60 is right for a piece of plastic..thats all.

I'd really love to know why Ford didn't just finish it off in the first place?
