Angry DSB payoff question.

Question for all of you buyback guys.

I turned my truck in on January 21st. Received my check for my downpayment, payments, and taxes. Ford has still not paid off my other loan. I am now late on that loan. Prior to this, in 19 years of consumer credit, I never had a late payment.

Anyways the question is, how long did Ford take to pay off your loans? I am supposed to be getting a new F250 tomorrow. But with all of this open credit, I am getting a terrible % rate.

Any comments will be greatly appreciated.

Call your DSB rep. and ask when it will be paid!! That's what I would do.

I have asked her, and all I get is the runaround.

I just wanted to know what others had experienced.

They have by far exceeded the time frame outlined in the DSB award letter.

They paid my loan off alrmost immediately; however I selected a replacement truck so they knew I would have a new loan.

Maybe being with Ford Motor Credit makes the payoff go quicker? I hope to find out very soon as my review is tomorrow. Now if I can just find a damn V10 F250 in non-white ext. paint. GRRR

Continue to make your payments and don't be late. FMC will send you a refund check after the account is closed. The DSB has figured your loan payoff for a certain date and amount is on your worksheet. I got my last electroinic payment back in a check from FMC within 30 days.
