She's back in the driveway

Total cost to fix = $ 12,000.00 time - 2 months
Went over it with a fine tooth comb, noticed they did not replace the tire on the passenger side, (which they said they would) still had slices in it from the accident.
I noticed they DID put it on the bill though, so back it went while i waited.
Feels like i bought a brand new truck, 2 months is a loooog time!
Im thinkin i deserve a

Nanners from Pasadena...

I wanted to drive down there and let you drive my truck, but I didn't want to torture you.

Glad you're driving it again!

Drove it to work today.....not enough "O" 's in smooth, compared to the 99' Ranger i was driving, CrAz3D, the pic's in my profile are the "fixed" pic's. I had the damaged ones in there prior to them.
I deleted them (to end the nightmare) before posting the new ones. Also included is the Ranger (which will be my son's when he gets old enough to drive.
Ahhhh....all seems right with the world...Ford F-150 drivers...where men are men and women are glad of it.

Hey anaheim...are you getting any kind of diminished value reimbursement from the insurance company? ...just wondering since the cost of your fix was so high. Mine was only 1k compared to your 12k. I havn't settled on mine yet...so I don't know if my damage was enough to justify this. Yours might be though.

fx4scab,

I did enquire about the DV issue.
Georgia, Mississippi, S. Carolina, and Tenn. are the only states that the DV claim has been deemed viable and collectable through the insurance claim.
Unfortuneatly, Ca. does not see it that way. To make matters worse, the guy who hit me had State farm insurance, they are the #1 proponent who does not acknowledge DV reimbursement.
I would have to fight for that via the court system, and you know how much that would cost.....good thing i have no plans on getting rid of this truck.
