Does anyone know if the 04 CD6 that has MP3 on the face mean it is audiophile also?

I could be wrong but I believe that there is the "standard" 6/MP3 and then there is the Audiophile 6/MP3; two different animals.

you can tell for sure if you can see the back of the radio, Audiophile has an extra set of pins for a 3rd plug that controls the amp/subwoofer.

I have a 2004 Lariat which is suppose to have the audiophile system in it (according to the sticker).
I was reading the owners manual and the 'quick' use card. The Quick card was talking about the controls of the radio, and that on the menu button, there are options for RDS, etc. When I scoll through the menu, there arnt any of these options. Also, it seems the Audiophile unit is suppose to play MP3 CDs. I questioned this and had them look at it in the service department. The service guy said it is the right radio and that I must of got some of the instructions for the 2005 model.
Can anyone tell me for sure that the 2004 audiophile unit is suppose to play MP3's and have the extra menu options to change listening zones, etc.?

Thanks
Jeff

I got the same quick reference talking about mp3 playback but it is generally accepted that is not the case.

Yes your Audiophile should have zones 0 Drivers seats, rear, all, etc.

None of the 2004 decks play mp3's and it's an option on the 2005 decks. My 2004 audiophile deck has the listening zones.
