please post oics og 2-3" lift and 33's

i really really want to install a 6" lift and 35s on my truck BUT-

I would lose tons of power, have stuff thrown up on the sides of the truck from the tires, lose power to tow... etc.. I dont really want to regear and I dont really want flares......

So I was thinking... maybe a 3" skyjacker lift with 33's.....

looking for some pictures of a setup close to this-

if anyone has pics please post and say what your setup is!

thanks

skyjacker 2.5" level spacer
34"x12" goodyear mtr
centerline crossfire wheels 17x8.5, 6" backspace (sticks out 0.5" further than stock), this is the important part if you don't want tires sticking out because a 17x9 or 17x10 with 5" or 4.5" backspace will stick out 2" to 3.5" further than stock plus the added width of the tire will make it stick out more. This results in large quantities of dirt, rocks and slush being sprayed up against the side of your truck.

I seem to recall the only person here (that I know of anyway) that had the 3" skyjacker lift was very unhappy with it and ended up looking to trade it for a leveling kit. My memory don't work good sometimes, so you may want to try a search for the 3" skyjacker lift...

Polished wheels are hard to keep clean and polish. I don't drive my truck much so, I don't care too much.

Erick-

so you are saying that the rubbing issue with the skyjacker has worked after all??? did it just need to work in? Are you happy with it? How is the ride?

thanks guys!

Sounds like you had some luck finding a body lift. What kind are you gonna use?

a performance accessories 3" kit. but im really wondering how a body lift works exactly. i mean am i going to be makingthe a-arm even further from the knuckle or does the whole truck kinda move up.

The body lift has absolutely no affect on your suspension. It simply raises the body 3 inches off the frame.
