I think I would just stick with the 2.5 inch Auto Spring spacers. I've heard of problems with the coilsprings hitting the control arms when going over 2.5 inches of lift.

spacer

You are right but that is the only 3" spacer that I've heard of. The 2.5" spacer should be sufficient and I've read posts saying that they seem to raise the truck more than 2.5" I just had mine done and am happy with the look. Pics to be posted soon.

That kit need a new steering knuckle. The stock one is just not long enough to cover the suspension travel.

Call SkyJacker and tell them its crap and to send a knuckle that fits. One thats about 2 Inches shorter than the one that come the 6" lift.

The kit doesnt come with new knuckles. But the upper a-arm connects to the knuckle. If the knuckle is longer, the a-arm doent have to extend down so far to connect.

My post was kind of sarcastic. I dont think skyjacker makes a knuckle for this kit, but they need one.

Ah bummer. I just ordered my 3" Skyjacker Scoil Kit. I don't get it regarding the control arm hitting the Scoil. I can understand that if it is larger in diameter than the stock Scoil it would hit??? In effect these spacer kits are lengthing the strut and no reported problems. So it would seem length is not a problem. Could it be the diameter of the Skyjacker Scoil? How bad does it hit. Do you have to go offroad for serious suspension movement or does it hit with just a bump in the street?
