For you guys that have a DVD player...

I forgot what I was reading last night on the internet but it was talking about the DVD players in the 2004 and 2005 modles. The artical said they come with 2 head phones, and a romote....I didn't get anything when I brought my truck so I went to the dealer just a little bit ago and told them abotu it, and they told me I was right. They keep the headphones and remote in the service section since they didn't want people breaking in the trucks and stealing them.

Just in case you guys have the DVD and don't have headphones and romote, go get them at your dealer.

I got home and was trying to figure out how they work since there wireless headphones and I couldn't seem to get anything working o nthe headphones or the romote. I should have asked the dealer if I am suppose to get a book on how the DVD player works with the headphones?

Just thought I'd let you guys know they come with headphones and a romote if you already don't have one.

You should have gotten a case, two headphones, a remote, book and batteries. A picture of it is in my profile.

Mine looks nothing like yours. They gave me a big cardbourd box, which I opened and have 2 headphones, a small remote, and 3 sets of batteries. They didn't give me a case like you have, or the book in that matter! Did I just get screwed again?

Mine came packaged in a cardboard box that was sealed with my VIN number on the package. In the box was what you see in the picture and everything was wrapped in plastic. What I got is the standard shipment for F150s, or at least that's what the dealer told me. I'd want the book and the case. Not much to the book, I'll scan into a PDF if you need it.

Alright! That would be nice if I had that case you have. I'm trying to figure out where to store this at and that case would have been perfact! If you can scan the PDR, that would be great!!!!

I went thru the same thing with my dealer, but finally got the headphones/remote/batteries/manual in the black case. The best place to look for a case is a camera shop. They have all different sizes/prices.

while your waiting for the instructions triton, hit the headphone icon button on the dvd ( this is actually the dual source mode) the dvd then broadcasts infrared to the headphones. and turn the headphones on.

but also in this "dual" mode. the "kids" can listen to the dvd and you can now select another source on your radio if you want to...

or they can hit the dvd's "source" button and actually listen to the radio or cd's while you listen to the dvd if you should want to....

hope that helps.
