pcm reflash and 1714 tuner?

ok so i had my truck in the shop to get some warranty work done and they reflashed my pcm. i have a superchips tuner and returned my truck to the stock program prior to taking it in to the dealership. do i need to just contact troyer and send my superchips tuner back to them to get it updated? does it cost anything to do this?i have had the tuner since last summer when they first came out.... is everyone who had the reflash and sent there tuner back getting everything to work properly? sorry i know this topic has been beat to death but i have been searching for awhile and can't find the info i am looking for exactly and i would just like some quick answers before i head off to work.

i havn't tried to see if the tuner will work with the new reflash, should i? i just remember reading about someone being stranded after they tried to do this?

thanks in advance for your time guys!

I was under the impression if you return it to stock and then have your pcm reflashed all you would have to do is download the reflash into the tuner and replace with one of the tuners "tunes". Now I could be wrong so thats why I would call Mike or Anita at Troyers and ask them your question. Im sure they would be happy to answer your question and they would know the correct answer. Good luck.

Easy as 1, 2, 3

1. Return to stock program
2. Take to dealer, have it flashed
3. Get home, go back to 1714 tune

Shouldn't have any issues.

The 1714 is suppose to be compatible with all the PCM codes for F150 04’s and 05’s. There shouldn’t be any problem re-loading your Superchips tune back in your truck as long as you returned it to stock before it was updated by the dealer.

Yeah, that can happen. No biggie, ship it back & they'll make the update. You must have gotten an early one!
