Has anyone figured out how to stop the ash tray from ratteling in the 04 f150?

 

throw the insert out the window....

 

Has anyone figured out how to use the search button?

 

Put some butts in it?

 

Mine doesn't rattle. Take out your insert and try turning it around if it's reversible. If not, use the search button on this site to look for more solutions.

 

There was no stopping my ash tray from rattling, insert or no insert. The whole ash tray door was the culprit.

I dropped the truck off at the dealer and had them replace the whole ash tray. It has not rattled since.

 

I put a hand full of coins in mine and when it started rattling, I dumped it, and it hasnt rattled since. It was very irritating. I dont really like the factory coin slot thing.
