OH NOOOOO!! (vibe??)

i think my "flawless" f-150 just developed the dreaded vibe!! so i was driving home from work today (negative degree weather lately) and my truck was shaking pretty violently and i could feel it really bad in the brake pedal, its pretty much what everyone has been describing! i find it odd that it has never happened before and right before i go home it stopped?
another thing, my truck has also been clunking around alot lately and the 4x4 hasn't been engaging smooth, i will turn the 4x4 on and it wont engage until i get on the gas and then it will slam into 4x4.... or when i push my gas pedal quickly from a roll like to pass on the highway or something sometimes the rear end slams like it has to catch up or something?! WEIRD!!!

all of these problems are brand new and the truck is about to hit 11k miles... DAMN i thought i was in the clear... i am going to visit the dealership tomorrow i guess and see what they have to say about it... hope it is an easy fix!! i'll let you guys know when i find something out

When breaking? Sounds like the break rotor issue.

it wasn't only when i was braking... i could just feel the vibe in the pedal... i will have them check that though. thanks for the input! i don't think the rotor issue would change after warm up though, but i could be wrong... maybe i am just paranoid

Frozen, flatspotted tires. Round tires are a lot smoother than frozen tires.
