Rusty Frame

i saw this post https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...postid=1526502

and was wondering since not only are my bed bolts rusty but the whole frame is, if I drive the same dealer will they replace my frame?

Well you can do what i did, get in an accident (make sure its the other guys fault) and Ford will install a completly new frame no charge!
I should get it back hopefully first week of Feb. Damn i hope so, im havin withdraws.

In the thread he linked to the guy was serious. Makes you wonder about peoples thinking though. I wonder how many people really worry about stuff like that, it must drive them crazy.

Calm down Equity a little rust on your frame does not warrant a replacement of it. If it bothers you get some Krylon epoxy in your choice of color and paint your frame, then it will be a custom one-off just like on Overhaulin.

My paint got dirty today!!! I hope the dealer has a TSB on this, I'd really like a new paint job...

A lot of people on here blow every little thing out of proportion without understanding it is a truck and a vehicle that is mass produced and it will have slight defects?

It gets a lot of the normal guys worried and makes them go crazy every time they get in their truck and something makes a noise!

I started doing it but than I realized how much I loved my truck and how much stuff was wrong in my old car.
