I put in an 8" bazooka. Fits like a glove. Dont even have to tie it down the seat does it and it matches the interior.

I also am in the middle of revamping. I have the single Disc stereo. Is there an easy way to remove the head unit without taking the dash apart. I saw a pair of din tools that will unlock the unit but I don't see the slots it fits into. I'm also replacing with 4 pioneer 3 ways 6x8" that I found on u-bid. I found a sub box on e-bay for 2x10" but they are only for 4-3/8" mounting depth but are .65cu/ft each. I will have to re-purchase subs to fit. I need more BOOM

CAREFULLY unsnap the trim plate and there are four screws holding the factory unit in place. Couldn't be simpler and OMG what a ton of room in that cavity to work/ wire in once the gigantic factory unit is removed. By far the roomiest I've ever worked in.

So far I've read about 3 options.
1. The Boxxman
2. QLogic
3. Bazzooka tube

Of the 3, which sounds best?

I just purchased a 2005 FX4 Supercab and I'm looking for a set-up myself. I had the JLAudio Stealthbox in my last truck and it sounded good, but pretty expensive. Looking for something that sounds just as good, but less expensive.

You can try this link too (I hope) http://www.supercrewsound.com/showprod2.asp?prodid=74

I was at an audio shop today looking at subs, boxes, & such. The old subs won't fit...too high of a profile. I almost ordered the box from this site, but the audio shop beat the price....

I got the 10-inch supercrewsound.com box with a MTX sub and MTX 250-watt amp. I still have the factory cd player, and it still sounds pretty good. I mainly got it to fill out the music with some bass, but if I really crank it up, it can pound pretty hard.

Try going to the website www.proboxrocks.com and find a dealer near you. The pictures really do not do the box justice. When I saw my first Probox, I was quite impressed. It is a very solid feeling MDF box with a very cool truckliner finish. Durable and probably has some additional sound dampening as well. I have seen very few boxes so well constructed.

Just use a 1/4 or 5/8 spacer.... It will work!

The probox will work with the supplied spacer... I think its 1/2"... and if that wont work, use a bigger spacer....
