New on the board just wanting to say hi

Hi,

New on the boards here. I had a Nissan Titan for awhile and now went to a Screw F-150 FX-4. I have been watching the boards for awhile and now wanted to say hi

Glad to see another SoCal F-150 owner.

Welcome to the Forum, and congrats on the new truck!

Wave if we're both in the same traffic jam.

Wow!! Thanks everyone for the great welcome. Yes this truck is a pleasure. Already got the 8" CST lift done on it as I had on the Titan and I really enjoy it.

Thanks to the reading on the board I already got the custom Troyer programming done on the truck, Airraid intake and Magnaflow exhaust and man what a difference !!

Hi Anaheim....Kinda long story so if I bore ya I am sorry I have been a Ford guy forever. I got the Titan because of the horsepower and price at the time. Ford was not dealing one bit when the 04's came out and I got a great price on the Titan but a high interest rate and I hate to say it but every test drive I went on the Fords power was just not there.

I will tell you the Titan is one hell of a truck. Especially with the CST lift. Drove smooth, gobs of power but had the typical import metal and build materials which I do not like. I had to dynomat the whole truck and frankly although it was way comfortable the interior sucked.

After awhile I was able to get a better interest rate and I wanted a 4x4 so I looked into the Fords again and now had the programming option to open them up a little. Plus it would match my 91' Saleen and 67' Mustang nicely

I can tell you although there is some things I miss about the Titan, this truck is just plain built better and much stronger. Just installing a 2 amp stereo system was a pain in the Ford due to all the noise damping material in them. I appreciate that. The ride is a little harsh from the FX-4 package but the truck in whole is really built nice.

Another thing was the Titan has the front brake warp problem which mine was getting and I did not want to deal with that one bit.

Overall I am extremely happy with the lift, the power (thanks Mike) and this forum I will get my gallery set up soon tonight if I can.

Thanks again for the nice welcome!!
