I had the vibe issue. 35 days in the shop, 3 driveshafts, and new body mounts, and its smooth as glass. I'm tickled to death now. A non vibrator 2004 F150 is the best 1/2 on the road.
I've been dying to say that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like you've won the 'battle' in finding a nice truck
Now you've got to win the war..........
Just take her out for a ride in it! Maybe that'll soften her up.
Good luck,
Scott

If I can convince my wife to loan me some dead presidents!

When I bought my FX4 it sat on the lot for awhile. It did have that hop feeling. The dealer told me that when it sits on the lot for a period of time the tires can go bad and the Phoenix summer heat was also a major factor. They put new tires put on before I bought the truck and its smooth.
You may want to have them put all new tires on the truck if it has sat awhile.

the ride quality in a chevy/gmc is just as good as the ford. I won my DSB decison and had such a bad taste in my mouth from ford and them trying to force me to keep a lemon that i went and bought a GMC Z71 4x4 5.3L V8 SLE with towing package. I had and XLT 5.4L V4 4x4 Towing package, ext cab for both. The GMC rides better much better than the ford I had (vibe) but it didn't right worse than any of the other fords I drove. I'm not knocking ford, i admit that i got a bad one and that had Ford's conduct been better I may have been interested in another, i Just want to piont out that the GMC I currenlty have, even with the offroad suspension is as good as any of the ford models.
