Anyone using BILSTEIN's?
When I had my '98 Ranger, a set of Bilsteins made all the difference in the world...but then it was only a Ranger.
I was wondering if anyone has installed a set in their F-150 and if it was a noticable improvement?
When I talked to Bilstein tech, at the time, the part numbers for a 2wd were: (F) BE5-A761-H0; (R) BE5-A762-H0
Interesting note the Tech told me regarding Leveling. In the case of Daystar, you are LENGTHENING the shock by whatever size you install. Looks like I'll go with Autospring as you are not effecting the shocks length
correct me if i'm wrong.

I put a full set of Bilstiens on my FX4, and love em.
The stock shocks are valved incorrectly and are of very poor quality so adding the Bilstein made the rear not skitter around on short, sharp irreguarlarities in the road surface. Also the rebound is very much improved with the Bilsteins. The compression valving is much more progressive as well. Handles large bumps easier / smoother, took corners much faster - felt much more in control - better ride than stock. They are avaliable from eshocks.com or performanceproducts.com

SlvrScab, I also have the Bilstein shocks. Put them on about a month ago, they are everything posted here so far and then some! Once you get the stock shocks off you can see how cheaply made they are. Im impressed by the smoother ride, and I thought inproving it would be hard to do!

I've got to say that my 4X4 Tundra came with Bilstein's and it does not have quite the '4x4ish' ride as my 05 F150 4x4 does. Don't get me wrong, I like the F150 ride, but it is a little stiffer than the Tundra or Chevy 4X4's (I've never driven a Dodge). Could it be that the Bilstein's make the ride that much smoother? For those of you that have installed them, did you notice a drastic ride difference after the install? Or was it ' yea, I THINK this is better!?!?
I believe it will be worth it cuz i had bilstein shocks with correct valved on my jeep in past and its awesome (for rocks, road, etc )...
I believe that bilstein already correct valved for our truck which will be great improve that Ford isnt do this with their POS shocks
