Leveling kit opinion

I have a 4.6 and am thinking about getting a 2 in. leveling kit, though I am not sure what kind yet. Should I get the autospring, daystar, or EZ-lift? I can't decide if the aluminum spacer would be better or daystar's. Also, if I wanted to put 33's on after this would my 3.55 gears really need to be replaced, or does it just lack in performance and pose no real threat to the truck? Any opinions would be appreciated.

I vote autospring...it's easy to install because you don't have to take apart the strut, it just bolts on top (I think ez-lift is the same but not sure) plus you can't beat the steel construction of the autospring kit compared to aluminum.

There are many opinions on this subject. If you want a few more try typing in, leveling kits, into the search feature of this site. You might be surprised at the amount of info you get.

I recommend Autospring; I have them and like the results

33” tires and a 3:55 gear is a recipe for disaster. That combination is going to over stress the transmission.

EZ-Lift and Autopsring are basically the same thing (I even used the autospring install instructions posted on this forum to install the EZ-lift spacer). I chose the EZ-Lift because it is a solid piece of aluminum, it won't rust, and there are no welds to worry about. They both do the same thing. Either one would be a great choice.
