About those other than Ford drivers...

As of late, I've seen an awful lot of bitching, either from guys who have legitimate (and unfortunate) complaints about their trucks, or from trolls who are out to start a fight and stir up the hornet's nest a bit.

We're all very passionate about our vehicles; I'm a Ford guy through and through, can't really see myself owning anything else. And in the past few months and couple hundred posts I've made, I can say that I'm proud to be a member of this board, along with the several thousands of fellow members. In that regard, I feel as if I'm a representive, both of F150online.com and, in a certain way, Ford Motor Company.

Several of you have read the posts on that other board featuring a new and very good Nissan truck. Or you've read the posts on this board concerning the same thing. Or posts regarding the lack of quality of Ford products and some seriously pissed off owners. Some of these claims are legitimate, some aren't. Unfortunately, several of the posts in question tend to de-evolve into a "mine is better than yours" flame fest. Especially on that other board.

Let's try to keep the peace, boys and girls...don't stoop to their level, make them climb to yours.

Just food for thought.

I don't care about the crying, so long as it's confined to the cry-baby threads... I just want folks to start using the 'search' button.... is that too much to ask?

PS - my truck is better than yours.

Unfortunatly people are more than happy to p*ss and moan when they have a problem, and the more people they tell the worse the problem gets.

That is the case here also, but there seems to be a lot of very happy people here that are more than willing to speak up on their truck.

No vehicle manufacturer makes a perfect product, and none ever will. If you aren't happy with it then look for something else, or take the issues up with someone that can help ith your problem.

I am new here and just bought my 05 but have had Ford trucks for the last 23 years. So I may not be one to listen to when it comes to experience, because they all have broke down at one time or another, except this one.

My only problem with mine is the it doesn't chase the critters that are in front of you away, then you hit'em. Which kinda sucks.

Maybe there should be a section here where people can come a B*tch about there problems, that way all of us happy people won't have to read them and be brung down. just a thought

Did you notice I took 20 seconds the other day and wrote code for a clickable search button to embed in posts? I thought you'd be proud of me.

Use this:

p.s.--I know you are, but what am I?
