Ford Gold remote start install?

I'm thinking about installing the Ford Gold package remote starter/security system/keyless entry (2W7Z-19G364-AA) and would like to know if anyone has done this themselves and how hard it is. Also, any additional tips/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. According to the pdf files I got from toddh's posts, it looks like I will also need 2 relays (YL3Z-19G390-AA) for the driver door priority unlock and the headlight illuminations. Also, from what I understand I will also need to buy the Securilock kit (1L2Z-19G365-AB)
Right now, my truck has only the factory option remote keyless entry with the keypad, but would like to get the added benefits of the remote starter and security system.

The headlight relay thing is a joke if you ask me. I did the relay for it and never use it. All it does is turn the headlights on for 30 sec. if you hold the button down. Same goes for the drivers door unlock. I took mine out. I like it way better having the doors all unlock at once. I do NOT miss hitting the button twice to let my wife in the other side of the truck. As far as install, pick a full day to do it. It is not hard, just takes time if you are doing it for the first time. 8 hours should be plenty. Double check the wires as you go with a test light. the 3 places you need to get at are:

steering colum
headlight switch
drivers door kickplate channel

Spend the day before reading the PDF install file a few time

I mounted the alarm LED right next to the PATS one on top of the dash, there is room to drill it in next to it. I also mounted the programing button in the kick panel for easy acess to after.

Well, I finally got my remote starter installed. I've only had it for a day, but I know that I'm going to love it since the high temps around here are supposed to be around 5 for the rest of the week. It's going to make coming out the the truck after work a lot warmer and not such a cold drive for my short drive home.
Thanks to Sandog53 for getting me all of the parts and for doing the install for me.
If you are looking for a good deal on the starter and for someone who really knows what they are doing to install it, definitely contact him!

Unfortunately, I don't he will make a service call to NY unless you are willing to pay the airfare and expenses.
I wish that I had not waited for it to get cold out before I decided to put in a remote starter also. It would have made things a lot easier and I would have been willing to take the time to do it myself if I had. A freezing cold garage did not make for a nice place to try to install the system. Oh well, live and learn.
