Kleen Wheels Dust Shield Install

This may seem like a stupid question but I put the shields on and I've got a question about the venting slots.

Depending upon how you mount it (line up the holes) you can have the vent slots showing or not (hidden behind spoke). Vendor doesn't mention making sure they show but if they are there to cool the brakes and they are behind the spokes will they still cool effectiely?

It looks better now showing the vents so if it makes no difference I'll leave them hidden.

Thanks.

What kind of dust shields did you buy? If the Ford wheels are so called hub centric does the shield interfere with the wheel sitting in the correct position for the hub?
I would like to block the brake dust from my wheels also.

They are Kleen Wheels Dust Shields. I decided it would be better safe than sorry and left the vents showing.
